Hello! My name is Ms Elizabeth (Liz) Rega and I am currently an Assistant Principal at JT Lambert Intermediate in the East Stroudsburg Area School District. My Exposure to art is unique as I grew up with no art program while attending a private school. The passion to paint found me as I was driven to attend a public high school because of my need and will to be a creator of art. Painting is a time to get lost in the moment and express something that sometimes words cannot find alone and I am adamant about the importance of art and its place in the human condition.
My passion for art and deep care for organizational culture has lead me down the path to pursue a masters at the Urban Principals Academy at Lehigh University. I took this pathway not because it is easy, but because it is a path that I could not ignore. U*PAL is a unique program that focuses on Creativity & Imagination in Leadership, issues of Inequity & Privilege and Organizational Culture and I graduated in January 2019. I am thankful that I stuck with my passion for art and I always knew what I wanted to do as a child. I dream of making a large impact in the education system.
